Because FREEDA breathes. The heart rate icon pulses once per second, in sync with the watch face refresh rate. A small heartbeat under a sugar skull turns a glance at the time into a quiet detail you keep noticing.

Then which beat is my real heart rate?

The pulse you see is the watch face refreshing every second to save battery. Your real heartbeat is right next to it: the heart icon is wrapped by a live ring that moves with your actual pulse. Resting, it rests with you. Running hot, you see it.

How does the daily goal show up on FREEDA?

Two rings, one for steps and one for distance, fill through the day as you move. You set the goal once in Garmin Connect (5k to 15k steps, or 5 to 42 km) and forget about it. The watch face does the bookkeeping.
